Gatehouse Studios provide quality recordings and rehearsal space for bands or solo artists in the South West.

here we now offer 3 Airconditioned Rehearsal rooms,and brand new air conditioned control room with Pro tools, Logic and Sonar please check the calendar section for availability.

The Studios opened in January 2009 in Swindon have large and medium size rehearsal studios with PA, drums, floor monitors, mics provided as standard. The large vocal booth, and drum booth can be used for practising as well as recording. The control room with 32 input Mackie mixers offering 32 simultaneous channels of recording plus unlimited overdubs and layers.
Industry standard compression and voice processing hardware plus 100's of professional plug ins including Solid State Logic.

Whether it's in the fully equipped studio, a live event or a solo artist wanting to showcase talent to a quality backing track, Gatehouse Studios aims to provide the service at a budget and timescale to suit most people.

The studios also has Internet distribution on Itunes, Amazon etc, and has partnerships with companies providing CD duplication, video production, web design, photography and marketing.

Loads of greast new stuff from the studios the past month including new tracks from "The boy done good", "Blake","Terrathorn","From Ruin", Top of the OX winners "E is for Echo", the fantastic band "The citizens" have a new EP available to download on their website- www.the citizens.co.uk.
Jase Johnson's band have been in this week recording their first EP as a bannd which will be availlable in the next few weeks.

!!!!!!!New Live Video Webcast Service!!!!!!!!!!!
Gatehouse studios are now pleased to be able to offer bands live performance webcasts from the studio for not alot more than the price of a rehearsal. This is a great promotional tool for bands and after the broadcast is finished can then be linked to your own websites. The first live planned webcast will be on the 5th March for the Mortdelamer Album launch night. Details of how to watch the live webcast will be displayed here nearer the time. Mortdelamer have just confirmed they will be launching
their new Album recorded at the studios last year at the studios in March. This will be an invite only party so please get in touch if you want to come along and watch one of the best unsigned live bands in the are put on a great show for you. Will also be the first chance to purchase their superb album "The man with 2 heads".

Firstly happy new year to everyone!! So far this year we've seen some superb young talent coming through the rehearsal rooms including "The Last Calm"," Jase Johnson's Band", "Cadence" as well as some old rockers like "Dead By Friday" (Sorry Brett!!).
I've also been busy recording bands such as "Tinshack", "Bodyglass", "Stillwater" and "So Am I".. Whilst Craigs recorded a superb EP for the signed metal band "Hellshrine".

Launch Party at the studios Saturday was awesome, thanks to everyone who performed, helped out and turned up!!- around 80 guests turned up for the free drink and to watch some quality acts . Isaacs aircraft got the crowd going with their popular tracks , their set was being videod by tracking shot as a promotion for their US tour which is currently being planned with promoters in the states. A full review will be appearing in Ragdoll magazine beginning of december.

2nd Rehearsal Room is now available to hire!!!
Due to the high demand for the main rehearsal room a second room has been setup on site, its smaller than the main room (around 14ft x 14ft) but still adequate for 3 to 4 piece bands. To check availability for both our rehearsal rooms please follow the "Book Now" link on the left of this page.

GateHouse Studio launch party announced for 14th November, 7pm The night will play host to 5 top bands and promo demonstrations from the likes of tracking-shot, rag-doll magazine and The GateHouse Group. Entry is free, drink will be supplied (until it runs out anyway!!).

The Melo-D's Shoot their debut video at the studios To promote the launch of their debut EP the band have been shooting a video for the track "Round & Round" (track recorded and produced by Andy Rowland)at various locations and the studio.
